It is a brut sans année or non-millésime (a brut champagne without a date), but at Krug they prefer to speak of a multi-millésime to emphasize the contribution of the vins to the reserve. Assembly has become a true art at Krug and the Grande Cuvée is composed of more than 100 different wines from 6 to 10 years old. Krug Grande Cuvée is dominated by Pinot Noir. This makes this champagne so full, rich and vineus. The aftertaste is wonderfully long as you would expect with a champagne of this caliber. Not a typical party champagne, but a deliciously complex champagne where you have the tendency to close your eyes with every sip to just taste and unravel the formula.
