Each Grand Vintage is unique and original – it is the personal and free interpretation of the cellar master of the most special qualities of the grapes of that year.After a predominantly cold winter and frost in the spring, in the early summer of 2012, broke a period of contrasting conditions. A heat wave in July, followed by rain in August and the hot, dry month of September caused a perfect ripening. The sugar content of the grapes was therefore relatively high with an acidity close to the average.
